The following video explains how we make pizza at Inferno’s Wood Fire Pizza in Honolulu, Hawaii.
First the dough is prepped and stretched by Kyle, master pizzailo. This is an important part of making pizza. The pizza dough needs to be stretched, however you want to leave some flexibility in the dough. You don’t want to totally flatten the dough. This would de-gas the dough.
Next the sauce and toppings are put on. This requires a firm yet gently touch. You must be caeful not to put on to much or to little. You want the pizza to come out just right.
Please be aware that at Inferno’s we are only using the very best ingredients. That goes for the flour that we use (FYI we use Caputo Flour), all the way to the last topping that we put on our pizza. As lead pizzaiolo, Kyle must use a gentle touch.
When the pizza is ready, into the oven it goes. That is where master pizzaiolo, John, takes over. He must watch each pizza to ensure that it is cooked to perfection. Again, leave the pizza in to long, and it will burn. Not enough and it will not be cooked.
This is a total two man operation. After all, it is no easy task making the Best Pizza in Hawaii.
As you will notice in the video, these steps are repeated dozens and dozens of times each day. We pride ourselves in making incredible pizza.
